In most instances, interpreting involves one person interpreting for two people who do not share a common language. The use of interpreters is commonplace in the courts, the medical field, on guided tours, etc. These environments allow for uncomplicated communications between the interpreter and the people who need interpreting.

However, some situations are more demanding. Imagine the scenario where an audience of 100 people have come to hear a speaker who speaks English. A good many of the people in the audience understand English, but most do not. To further complicate matters, the non-English speaking audience members only speak one of three different languages- Armenian, Georgian or French.

Simultaneous Interpretation system
A Simultaneous Interpretation system is almost indispensable for successful international conferences where multiple languages are used. In order to enable all participants to understand the proceedings, interpreters simultaneously translate the speaker's language as required. These interpretations are then distributed throughout the conference venue and delegates can select the language of their choice and listen to it through headphones.
The BOSCH “INTEGRUS” System (Wireless Language Distribution System Digital) provides a means of distributing undistorted language interpretations through virtually any indoor conference venue. The “INTEGRUS” gives delegates full freedom of movement while listening to interpretation.
At some conferences, it is essential that nothing that is said in the conference area should be overheard outside the hall. The BOSCH “DCN Next_Generation System” is the best choice for such a requirement and the “INTEGRUS” is also a good choice for such a requirement because infra-red light is unable to penetrate through walls.

Audio expansion
Audio logging, remote interpretation, transporting or distributing audio from one room to another room is possible over relatively long distances without loss via fiber optic cabling, by using audio expanders (analogue or digital) which are part of DCN Next Generation. There is a growing desire to build audio systems where signal processing and amplification components are distributed throughout a facility. Therefore DCN Next Generation interfaces easily with CobraNet™, which is the industry’s leading technology for distributing uncompressed real-time digital audio over a Fast Ethernet network.
Camera control - an extra dimension in conference systems
A visual dimension not only generates interest and focuses attention, but also informs participants and observers (such as the press) who is speaking. The DCN Next Generation can automatically show an image of the current speaker on monitors or projection screens in the main hall, lobby, interpreters booths, breakout rooms or anywhere else required. The speaker’s name and additional information can also appear on screen. Camera control is automatic, so no constant operator attention is required. Bosch AutoDome® cameras are ideal for this application.

Show conference data on screens by means of video display
The following information can be shown:
• The listed delegates who are waiting to speak
• The names of delegates who are currently speaking, with the remaining speech time

The video display information can be shown to each participant on the podium with a personal color liquid crystal screen. The same information can be shown to the audience by means of large-scale screens or projectors.
Follow proceedings via internet
• Delegates unable to attend a meeting can follow proceedings via internet
• Audience can join a live city council meeting from home via internet
Audio expansion and logging
• Logging of audio, data and video on hard disk, CD or DVD
• Audience can follow speech through separate loudspeakers and amplifiers

Have all audio recorded or distributed
Non-participating listeners can follow proceedings by listening to additional loudspeakers.
If logging is required to record the floor and simultaneous interpretation, the logging device can be connected to the DCN System. This can be accomplished over relatively long distances and without loss of quality via fiber optic cabling.
The DCN System provides analog or digital audio outputs and inputs. This enables you to keep audio in the digital domain, guaranteeing high audio quality.
If the audio has to be broadcasted, it can be taken directly from the DCN System. Our interpreters have spent years perfecting their skills in the classroom and in the field, and are committed to the highest professional standards, namely, those of AIIC (Geneva, Switzerland) - Association Internationale des Interprètes de Conférence/International Association of Conference Interpreters - the most authoritative professional body of interpreters in the world. They are graduates of professional conference interpretation schools, and have extensive work experience, including at the highest levels.

Notably, most of our interpreters are on the list of accredited interpreters of the Council of Europe.

The interpreters, CSN Caucasus works with, provide interpretation for assignments involving English, French, German, Russian and Georgian languages, and requiring absolute awareness of the religious, cultural, social and political sensibilities of their intended audiences.
